glass fiber Non Woven Sound Absorbers

06/11/2016

Today's, suspended ceilings with sound absorbing glass fiber nonwoven solutions become an ideal choice due to high levels of noise absorption properties.

Modern day glass fiber based nonwoven solutions manufactured with boron & fluorine free glass fibers provide the dual advantage of resistance to corrosion and added physical and mechanical properties to the reinforcement.

Typically, these are made with glass fibers having an average fiber diameter of 10 micron. Further, these solutions also come with temperature/pressure sensitive adhesive systems to help easier installation.

SMART FEATURES:

  • Noise reduction coefficient: high levels of absorption resulting in a noise reduction coefficient up to 0.73.
  • Physical properties: Tensile strength making the product stronger, more resilient and easier to handle during installation.
  • Fire performance: Lower levels of flammability enabling the product to have a classification of A1 EN ISO 1182
  • Durability & Storage Life: Glass fiber based nonwovens provide outstanding performance in humid environments with no shelf life restriction.

KEY SEGMENTS FOR USE:

  • Perforated metal ceiling tiles
  • Perforated gypsum/ wooden/ plastic ceiling panels
